Lunch & Learn Summary:

The midstream industry has various products/commodities that result from processing; most importantly, natural gas. Over the past 50+ years, the energy industry has executed projects that supply natural gas to various regions to help supply a needed commodity for the end-user. This Lunch and Learn will give attendees an understanding of the natural gas pipeline business with respect to gas supply, business development and gas marketing to various customers.

Topics include:

  1. What is the price difference between the various regions of the US?
  2. Basics of natural gas marketing and business development.
  3. How has natural gas exports changed the business?
  4. Demand for natural gas.
  5. How do pipelines solve the problem of natural gas demand?

Speaker bio:

Brad Erickstad is Manager of Business Development & Pipeline Marketing with Atmos Energy subsidiary Atmos Pipeline – Texas in Dallas, TX. Mr. Erickstad obtained his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from LeTourneau and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. He has spent most of his career in the energy industry practicing engineering and subsequently business development for gas transmission pipelines, specifically with Atmos Pipeline-Texas and its predecessors Lone Star Gas and TXU Gas. He has an extensive background involving natural gas marketing, gas supply and business development.
