In Loving Memory of our friend Bob Tuttle

 

This year's Sporting Clay Event will be held November 1, 2018 at the Alpine Shooting Range and will honor our very good friend and peer, Bob Tuttle, who passed away this year.

Bob organized, hosted, and ran the NTGPA annual clay shoot for almost 25 years. So, if any year in the past two and a half decades you have enjoyed a North Texas GPA clay shoot, won a gun, or experienced the hospitality and comradery of the event, you have Bob to thank for that.  He put in countless hours not only towards our annual shoot, but also into making sure the North Texas GPA has been and will continue to be a premiere GPA chapter.

In addition to his work with the North Texas GPA Board, Bob was a longtime GPSA board member. He was recognized with several Volunteer & Recognition Awards over the years for his dedicated association involvement. He will truly be missed.

EVENT SCHEDULE

7:00 AM – 8:30 AM – Morning Registration (*No walk up registration for morning shoot)
8:30 AM – Morning Flight shotgun start
1:00 PM – Awards and Door prizes – must be present to win
10:00 AM – 12:30 PM - Afternoon Registration (*Walk up registration permitted)
12:30 PM – Afternoon Flight shotgun start
5:00 PM – Afternoon Awards and Door Prizes – must be present to win

7:00 AM – 10:00 AM – Breakfast
10:30 AM – 1:30 PM – Lunch
3:30 PM – 5:00 PM Barbecue Dinner
7:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Shooting & Safety Instructors – Free
 

If you would like to assist with the event, please fill out the attached form and select where and when you would be able to work.  Assistance will be needed both before (as in now!) and during the event and all help will be greatly appreciated!

The event this year will consist of three courses with ten stations each.  These will be labeled Black, Red, and Green and will have a decreasing degree of difficulty in that order.

Your registration will not be complete, and your shooting space assured until payment for your team has been received.  The final date for payment is Thursday, October 25, 2018.

Event Pricing: 

  • $800/4-PersonTeam (The Team Captain must be a North Texas GPA Midstream Chapter Member others on the team may be Non-Members)
  • $200/Individual Shooter

    This price will include a golf cart for every team, 100-target round, door prize chance, awards, and meals. Shooters must provide their own ammunition. Ammunition will be for sale at the event.

PLEASE NOTE: Winners of prizes valued at more than $600 will be issued an IRS 1099 Form.

Sponsorship Opportunities

 
  • Golf Cart ($1000 - 3 Available - One for each Course) - Your company logo will be displayed on all golf carts and event flyers with verbal recognition during the giveaway portion of the event. You may also place marketing paraphernalia in golf carts if desired.
     
  • Main Tent ($1500) - Your company logo will be displayed on all event flyers and a yard sign with your company logo will also be provided.  Verbal recognition will be given during the giveaway portion of the event. You may display your company banner in or on the main tent, and are welcome to provide marketing paraphernalia on tables if desired. Do not provide food or beverages, as that will be provided by our food and beverage sponsors.
     
  • Main Area Setups ($1500 - 2 Available) -Your company logo will be displayed on all event flyers and a yard sign with your company logo will also be provided.  Verbal recognition will be given during the giveaway portion of the event. You are free to set up a small tent and/or table to provide giveaways, marketing paraphernalia, company info, games, etc. Do not provide food or beverages, as that will be provided by our food and beverage sponsors.
     
  • Drink Sponsor Main Area ($1750 - 1 Available) – Your company logo will be displayed on all event flyers and a yard sign with your company logo will also be provided.  Verbal recognition will be given during the giveaway portion of the event. You are free to set up a company banner, small tent and/or table to provide giveaways, marketing paraphernalia, company info, and beverages.
  • Gun Sponsors ($1250, $1000, $750)- Your company logo* will be displayed on the raffle sheets or the winning certificates used for the gun drawing as well as on all event flyers with verbal recognition during the giveaway portion of the event.  
     
  • Manned Station ($750) - Your company logo will be displayed on all event flyers and a yard sign with your company logo will also be provided.  Verbal recognition will be given during the giveaway portion of the event. You are free to set up a tent and/or table to provide snacks, beverages, giveaways, marketing paraphernalia, company info, games, etc… No alcohol is to be provided. You have the option to choose your station which is limited to a shooting station on one of the three courses and not in the Main Tent area. Also, each station sponsor will now be provided with one golf cart per station sponsored. If desired and available, multiple station sponsorships will be permitted.  Also, each station sponsor will now be provided with one golf cart per manned station sponsored. If desired and available, multiple station sponsorships will be permitted.
     
  • Unmanned Station ($250) - Your company logo* will be displayed on all event flyers, a yard sign with your company logo will also be provided and verbal recognition during the giveaway portion of the event.
     
  • Shooting Instructor ($500) - Your company logo* will be displayed on all event flyers, a yard sign with your company logo will also be provided and verbal recognition during the giveaway portion of the event.
     
  • Gift Certificates ($500) - Two (2) Available.  Your company logo* will be displayed on all event flyers and a yard sign with your company logo* will also be provided.  Each gift certificate will display your company logo*.
     
  • Trophies ($1000) - Two (2) Available.  One morning one afternoon. Your company logo* will be displayed on all event flyers and a yard sign with your company logo* will also be provided.  Each trophy will display your company logo*.

*A high definition digital copy of your logo must be supplied at least weeks prior to the event to assure quality signage can be prepared.
