Who Should Join?

Any person or company involved, owning or operating midstream energy-related facilities is welcome to join the North Texas GPA. Our member’s produce, gather, transport, and market natural gas and natural gas products. They represent all aspects of the gas industry, including those who provide services or supplies. NTGPA offers Individual and Corporate memberships for a nominal fee of $40 per person for Individual or $250 (Silver), $500 (Gold) and $750 (Platinum) for Corporate. Corporate membership includes full membership for all designated employees. Annual Membership runs from July 1st to June 30th.
GPA’s chapter organizations, like the North Texas chapter of the Gas Processors Association (NTGPA) have been instrumental in serving the midstream industry through a number of networking and educational events specific to their respective regions. Participating in chapter activities is an excellent way to learn what GPA can offer and allows companies to get involved at a different GPA level. The GPA encourages midstream industry professionals to join and get involved in both chapter and national levels for maximum leadership and networking benefits. Although the NTGPA is closely affiliated with the GPA, it is a separate organization, and as such, we have our own membership, bylaws, and dues structure. The NTGPA offers both individual and corporate memberships, with benefits outlined below:

Membership Benefits

NTGPA membership is open to any company, individual or partnership that provides services to the midstream industry. NTGPA memberships can be individual, for one person, or corporate, which allows employees of that company to take advantage of the following benefits.

Professional Development & Networking Opportunities

NTGPA hosts meetings, luncheons, golf tournaments, sporting clays shoots, and other training and development opportunities each year with the Dallas/ Fort Worth and East Texas/ North Louisiana markets each year, which provides an excellent avenue for professional development and networking.

In addition, NTGPA hosts a Regional Conference each November which provides an opportunity for members to share best practices, discuss the industry’s latest legislative & regulatory information, and benefit from scheduled technical sessions conducted by industry experts.

Inexpensive but Effective Exposure Opportunities

With a corporate membership, a NTGPA member’s company name will be included on the NTGPA website. Each year at our Shrimp Boil, we recognize and show appreciation to our corporate members as well.

Leadership Opportunities

Serve as an officer or on the board of directors or join a committee and strengthen your leadership skills while playing a key role in your profession and in the industry’s future.

There are numerous career opportunities in the Midstream Industry all throughout the North Texas Region. Relationships developed through NTGPA Events, Regional Conference, Technical Training and Scholarship activities/fundraisers will enhance the possibility of employment in the midstream industry. Additionally those already working in this industry can use the association to further their careers.

Supports Scholarship Programs

The NTGPA accepts applications each year for our scholarship program for students enrolled in accredited 2- and 4- year universities studying engineering, engineering technology, process technology, heavy equipment maintenance or similar degree programs. It is the goal of the NTGPA Scholarship Program to encourage students to careers in the gas processing industry. The donated funds are raised through the corporate membership program, as well as chapter fundraisers such as golf tournaments and sporting clay shoots. In addition, the Gas Processors Suppliers Association (GPSA) matches contributions (up to $5,000) each year.

Apply / Renew Membership

The membership dues are only $40 per person or $250 (Silver), $500 (Gold) and $750 (Platinum) for Corporate membership for each fiscal year.

Corporate Memberships are critical to the success of the NTGPA. Last year was the highest level of Corporate Membership for the NTGPA in many years. Please encourage your company to become active in the NTGPA with a corporate membership as well as encouraging participation in the NTGPA of individual employees.

All levels of Corporate membership have the same benefits:
  1. Recognition at North Texas GPA functions.
  2. All company employees that are listed along with the check are automatically included on the membership rolls (thus eliminating the need for each individual member to pay dues) and will receive announcements, etc.
  3. Most of the funds collected go to our scholarship fund which we award each year.

The difference is the pride of being a "Platinum" member vs. a "Silver", which has different values to each individual company.
